I’ve been working hard on edits for Anna and The Moonlight Road for a long time now, and while the book is nearing completion, we’ve had to push the release date back a bit.
Originally we were looking to release in Spring, exactly one year after Anna Undreaming, but we won’t make that date. Sorry folks.
It’s not all bad news though! We’ll be doing a cover reveal soon. I don’t want to set a date in case I disappoint anyone again, but I’ve given my publisher lots of ideas and we will start seriously looking at options soon.
Even better, the final book is well on track! Metiks Fade three is likely to be a bit longer than book one, and you won’t need to wait nearly as long this time. I’d like to say summer 2020, but I don’t want to be too optimistic, so let’s say “before 2021”.
On a personal note, this is the first time I’ve had to deal with audience expectation, and it’s been weird. When someone tells me that they’re desperate for my next book, I feel a bit of pressure, but it’s not too bad. I also have to remind myself that my book is out in the world, more than a few people like it, and they want to read the next one, and that’s pretty amazing. Thanks so much for all the support!
The most common questions I get right now are what will happen between Anna and Teej, whether Garret will return, whether The Midnight Man is really dead and if Anna will get her revenge on Drowden.
I can’t wait to give you all the answers!
