The Global Game Jam is on its way! GGJ brings together thousands of game enthusiasts participating through many local jams around the world. At CalmDownTom, we will be covering the Scottish Games Jam which is the biggest Jam in the UK where almost a hundred competitors have already signed up. Many more are joining every day so if you are creative and love games, register your interest now!
For those who don’t know, a Game Jam involves participants gathering to develop ideas, form small groups and create new, creative games for their peers and the global community, all in a limited time span. In the case of the Scottish Games Jam, this means 48 hours of desperate coding and asset creation with no sleep and lots of junk food and energy drinks.
