I think 2012 has some of the best music I have ever heard in games, and that music ranges from huge orchestral pieces by famous composers like Clint Mansell to gloriously catchy chiptunes that sound like they were made in 1988.
The game certainly improves as you learn the classes and by the time that you know each one and how it plays, it almost achieves its goal of compelling class based combat.
If you look back on 2012 and think it was a bad year of gaming…. well, you’re just lazy. But thankfully you come here, so while we’ve spent the whole year telling you about amazing games you might otherwise have missed, you still have one more chance to hear about them all
