At the recent Scottish Game Jam, I had a chance to talk with one of the judges Simon Lumb. As industry expert, enthusiastic gamer and all round clever guy the whole thing is well worth a listen. He’s a massive Halo fan, a champion of new and innovative gameplay and technology and shares my love of Alan Wake and Ilomilo. It’s not all agreement and rainbows though as we disagree on a few points, but in the end we come to some agreement on whats right and whats wrong in the games industry.
